Lexus Reveals New Fifth-Generation RX
Three of the four powertrains will be electrified. None of them will include a V-6. Lexus also built the sportiness RX yet, the 500h F-Sport.
24 years after Lexus introduced the RX crossover SUV, which more or less invented the luxury crossover SUV segment, we now get the fifth-generation RX model for the 2023 model year. Actually, we get several: Front- and all-wheel-drive versions of the RX 350, and several electrified AWD models, the RX 350h, the RX 450h+, and a brand-new kind of thing: the RX 500H F Sport. And, unlike the original, V-6 equipped 1999 RX 300, none of them run on more than 4 cylinders.

The M Brand marks the milestone with an M3 Competition xDrive that receives special paint and more to become the M3 Edition 50 Jahre BMW. 500 iterations are North America bound.
It was May 24th, 1972, that BMW M GmbH opened its doors for the first time. A sub-brand of Bavarian Motor Works—well, technically Bayerische Motoren Werke—that would one day turn into an absolute dynamo for driving enthusiasts across the globe. From the M1 supercar, to the iconic E30 M3, to the drift king E39 M5, the M Brand built generations of stunning machines. And now that company is 50.

Toyota’s Rough and Tumble SUV Turns 40
To celebrate, Toyota will build a limited-edition model called 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition, which is logical enough. It stands out with bronze colored 17-inch wheels, some graphics, and a 40th Anniversary tailgate badge
Two things to report here: First, Toyota introduced the 4Runner to us for the 1983 model year. Second, 1983 was almost 40 years ago! Good gravy, that’s a tough pill to swallow. And further proof that, as time passes, the passage of time gets more stressful. The silver lining to such devastating news is the 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition. A limited-edition, uniquely styled version of Toyota’s off-road-friendly Ute.

Honda’s Upcoming EV Entry is fittingly called the Prologue
The Honda Prologue EV SUV will launch in 2024. It is a co-developed vehicle with General Motors. And, critically, is the beginning of a very heavy EV future for the Japanese brand.
Prologue: a separate or introductory section of a literary or musical work. Honda Prologue: an introductory EV, of sorts, coming in 2024 that will be followed a battery of battery powered vehicles based on what Honda calls e:Architecture.
