Really enjoyed this one, guys! And thanks for not bagging MW *too* much π But I do agree that the deck is pretty much stacked against him this year. I still hold hope that Mark comes back fighting after the break, but he’s going to have to work twice as hard to be in with a chance- just hope he still has the desire.
Aussies can be laid back to the point of apathy… I want to see him fire up… get angry… maybe even a little mean!
Hi, great podcast yet again, well done!
3 points for discussion;
1- Can we have a forum? Facebook is utter crap for having discussions on, as the topics are repeated constantly, and the interesting topics drop down and are lost.
2- Will there be a F1show banner and business cards for future events?
3- Is facebook Shaun mental? π
Hi Guys, great pod cast. One point though:
Political unrest in Australia would never, ever, ever cause a spoting event to be cancelled. Never… ever. It would be Un Australian π
Great podcast, gentlemen! Robin, don’t be too quick to doubt Austinite enthusiasm – I believe Austin will get fired up for F1! We already know how to take over the city for huge events, as Jim noted, and the city is nearly as big as MontrΓ©al. It might take a few years, but I think you’ll find that they picked a good spot. Let me know when you guys go, and if I can’t join you, I’ll at least tell you what to look for while you’re there!
In sum: if you build it, they will come. Americans don’t inherently love football – we rally around it because it’s local, it’s ours. F1 isn’t that yet for many Americans, but I think Austin will rally around F1!
